ABOUT DELCO HI-Q
Delco Hi-Q is the oldest, continuous, academic quiz competition in the nation now in our 64th season! The competition is a valued tradition in Delaware County. Twenty Delaware County High Schools participate each year. Each team has ten students who answer questions from fourteen subjects.

During each Delco Hi-Q season, 210 students participate and over 10,000 students attend the contests. These students are the future of Delaware County - our teachers, leaders, workforce, and community.

The Championship match awards first, second and third place teams cash prizes of $3,000, $2,500 and $2,000 respectively to the schools. A revolving trophy is given to the winning team to display in their school during that year. All team members are honored at the annual Partners in Education Celebration.
