Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union (FMFCU) has provided personal financial services throughout the Delaware Valley since 1970 and serves over 800 organizations and more than 47,000 members.
The Credit Union was named "Employer of the Year" by the Friends of the Delaware Country Women's Commission in 2003; in 2004, received the "Excellence in Youth Award" from the Delaware County Council, Delaware County Workforce Investment Board, and the Delaware County Youth for the company's commitment to education.
FMFCU's dedication to education includes the 2004/5 Diamond Sponsor of the Delco Hi-Q program, the opening of the first-ever high school Credit Union Branch in Delaware County at Interboro High School, three annual scholarships for higher education, title sponsorship for the 2004 "Dare to Dream" career program, and the development of Start Smart™ Financial Education from Cradle to College for young credit union members.

History & Program details: Delaware County Hi-Q is the nation’s oldest, continuous academic high school quiz competition and has been a Delaware County tradition for over 54 years. The Foundation manages this program and has been instrumental in keeping this program alive for future generations. The Foundation supports Hi-Q through fundraising efforts and administrative support. Donations may be sent to the Delaware County Education Foundation, care of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.
